1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoceTonAI Script OCR ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides:

• OCR processing for images and PDF files
• Data extraction using YAML-based rules
• API usage with credit-based billing
• Optional caching of processed OCR results

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

3. Accounts & Authentication

We use Google and GitHub OAuth for user authentication.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Maintain the security of your login credentials
• Not share your account with others

4. User Responsibilities

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Upload illegal or harmful content
• Process copyrighted content without permission
• Violate any data protection or privacy laws
• Bypass rate limits or billing systems
• Reverse engineer or resell the Service

5. Uploaded Content

You may upload images, PDFs, and YAML scripts for OCR and data extraction. We do not store uploaded documents or scripts.

All processing occurs in memory. You represent that you have permission to use all uploaded content.

6. Optional Caching

If cache = true is enabled, OCR results may be temporarily stored to reduce compute cost. Original files are never stored.

7. API Usage & Billing

• Users purchase credits using BNB (BSC network)
• Payments are processed through blockchain wallets like MetaMask
• Credits are deducted per API request
• All blockchain transactions are final and irreversible

8. Availability & Modifications

We may update, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time. We are not liable for downtime, maintenance, or third-party outages.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Service, APIs, documentation, and branding belong to SoceTonAI. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service without written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for hosting and OCR
• BSC blockchain for payment transactions

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not liable for data loss, financial loss, business interruption, or inaccuracies in OCR output. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SoceTonAI harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Service or uploaded content.

13. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the API
• Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, regardless of conflict-of-law principles.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the new Terms.
